What type of cuisine do you serve at Kari?

We serve Indian cuisine inspired by regional flavours from across India, with a special focus on flavours from Southern India. Our menu blends authentic regional Indian dishes with modern favourites, crafted using the finest Irish & traditional ingredients.

What is the meaning of the name Kari?

Named after the Tamil word “kari” (கறி), meaning “sauce,” Käri celebrates the roots of the word “curry” and the rich culinary heritage of India.

What are your opening hours?

Wednesday–Friday: 16:30 – 22:30
Saturday & Sunday: from 11:00 – 22:30
Closed Monday & Tuesday
Open on Bank Holiday Mondays

How do I make a reservation?

You can book a table easily through our website www.kari.ie or by calling us directly on 015499221. Bookings of 5 or more guests have a dedicated reservation link.

Do you accept walk-ins?

Yes, walk-ins are very welcome. We do recommend booking ahead on busy days, especially on weekends.

Do you require card details to secure a booking?

Yes. A valid card is required to confirm all bookings. No charge is made unless the cancellation policy applies.

What is your cancellation policy?
  • Tables under 6 guests: 24 hours notice required
  • Tables of 6 or more: 48 hours notice required
  • Late cancellations or no-shows may incur a fee of €25 per person.
  • A minimum spend of €25 per guest also applies.
Do you offer vegetarian, vegan, or gluten-free options?

Yes. We offer a strong selection of vegetarian and vegan dishes, as well as gluten-free options. Our team will be happy to guide you through the menu.

Can you accommodate food allergies?

Absolutely. Please inform your server of any allergies or dietary requirements, and we will do our best to provide suitable options. Though please note that due to the nature of cooking in our kitchen, possibility of cross contamination cannot be completely ruled out.

Do you offer takeaway or delivery?

Yes. You can order takeaway directly through our website www.kari.ie. Delivery options may also be available depending on your location.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept Visa, Mastercard, debit cards, cash, and digital wallet payments such as Apple Pay and Google Pay.

Is the restaurant wheelchair accessible?

Yes, our premises are fully wheelchair accessible.

Do you take group bookings or private events?

Yes. We welcome groups and can accommodate larger parties for special occasions. Please contact us directly for group enquiries.

Do you add a service charge, and what is your tipping policy?

We do not add a mandatory service charge. Tips left by customers are shared fairly among our team.

Do you sell gift vouchers?

Yes, gift vouchers are available for purchase online at www.kari.ie or in store and can be used for both dining in and takeaway. Our gift vouchers can also be used across our other venues – Kari Stores, Konkan, Clanbrassil Street and Konkan, Dundrum.
